Hello and welcome to R & S Culinary Concepts, I am Chef Rick and am a classically trained chef with over 30 years of culinary experience. I was influenced at a young age by the amazing culinary skills of both my mom and grandmother. Holidays and Sunday dinners were always a celebration of the culinary arts in my family.

Shortly after high school I attended culinary school and upon graduation was asked to remain with the school as an Assitant Chef Instructor. Within a year I was promoted to Chef Instructor and taught with Le Cordon Bleu for over 10 years. I accepted a position with The Art Institutes of California and taught for over 8 years with that organization. During that time I also taught at a local charter high school and with a few small culinary operations. For the past 8 years I have been working in the Nutrition Services Department for local schools improving meals while remaining in compliance. I have also worked with The Food Network and multiple consulting projects. I am a member of the American Culinary Federation and a Certified Chef de Cuisine, Barbecue Pit Master and Mixologist.
